I prepared a pdf of the slide show I presented at the Daniel Boone Regional Library on March 8, 2010. It is sized to view on an iPhone, to view it on your computer I'd suggest setting the viewing percentage to 200% or less (it will probably open at a higher percentage with low image quality).
I'd really appreciate receiving feedback on the slide show - send your thoughts to slideshow@donnabrunet.com
How to Put the Slideshow on Your iPhone
I am using GoodReaderLite - a free pdf viewer app. The free version allows you to store up to 5 pdfs on your iPhone. This pdf is approximately 3MB and includes approximately 130 photographs plus text.
Below is a screen shot of GoodReaderLite when first opened. Select Web Downloads. At any time, the icon on the bottom right will rotate the screen.

A new screen, shown below opens. Select Enter URL. In the box that opens, type http://donnabrunet.com/pages/pdfs/Brunet2010.pdf and select OK. Make sure to remove the www. that is automatically inserted on the Enter URL box.
Downloads in Progress will show at the bottom of the screen for a few moments. while downloading the 1.5 MB file.
When it is downloaded to your iPhone, a list of Recent Downloads will appear at the bottom of the screen.

Select the name of the file at the top of the recent downloads list. The following screen will appear. Select Brunet2010.pdf to open the file.

The pdf opens with the navigation icons. Those will disappear in a moment. To get them back, simply tap the image. You can navigate without the arrows, etc, by either tapping the gray area under the image or by swiping your finger across the screen to change pages similar to paging through photographs in the camera roll.
The last few pages contain links to my web site and a few other sites. You can click on these within GoodReader and your iPhone will open the links in Safari.

Remember that the GoodReader app does not rotate by changing the position of the phone. The icon on the bottom right of the screen (tap the screen to see navigation icons) will rotate the pdf to landscape view and back.
